When a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Turkey, Jersey resident of around two decades and owner of popular takeaway Turkish delight felt "didn't have any choice" but to head for his hometown to rescue his family.

Speaking from Turkey, Cuma Dagilan tells reporter Jack Lister about the devastation he has witnessed, and detailed his amazing 850km journey across the country in a rented van to bring his loved ones - including children as young as 15 months old - to safety...
