Jersey is getting older – and pretty quickly at that. 

In the last census, it was recorded that the number of people aged over 65 grew by 29% between 2011 and 2021. 

It’s therefore more important than ever that we listen to the concerns of older Islanders, and take their health and quality of life seriously.  
 
In this podcast, Bailiwick Express Reporter Charlie Flynn spoke to Rosemarie Finley, the CEO of Family Nursing and Home Care. One of Jersey’s oldest charities, they have been helping islanders live and age well since 1899.   
 
They discuss the importance of community health, some of the every day tips and tricks the older generation can use to age gracefully and the importance of a positive outlook on getting older...
